Presbyopia induces a reduction in the accommodative ability of the crystalline lens with the age. Different alternatives to improve near vision in patients with presbyopia as monovision, multifocal glasses, multifocal contact lenses, intrastromal devices, multifocal ablation techniques or Premium Intraocular Lenses (IOLs), among others have been developed. Concretely, Premium Intraocular Lenses are implanted in patients with cataracts; as well in the surgery know as refractive lens exchange. The innovations developed in its technology improve the vision at all distances, from near to far vision, even in intermediate vision. Also, the technology allows correcting the refractive errors as myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism. Likewise, various improvements in the Premium IOLs have been developed. Concretely, highlights the reduction of near vision addition of the bifocal IOLs to enhance the intermediate vision, as the development of trifocal IOLs, accommodative IOLs, or extended depth of focus IOLs, among others… Indeed, many scientific studies published in Pubmed Central have reported excellent outcomes of optical and visual quality of Premium IOLs at all distances. Also, the aspheric design of Premium IOLs improves the visual quality in night conditions compared with spherical IOLs. Besides, its technology improves the intermediate vision for example in the visualization of the computer of the cars.
It is necessary to provide information to the population about the technology and research outcomes of Premium Intraocular Lenses. Precisely, from ConsultoriaVisual.com we plan content marketing and social media strategies in online platforms from ophthalmological clinics and hospitals in Spanish speaking countries. Our strategies will increase the knowledge to the population about the different procedures realized in the ophthalmological centres, as web positioning will improve. Likewise, from our international project we edit contents about Premium IOLs to spread postgraduate courses and master’s degrees from universities or other online platforms. By means of our strategies, the academic community will receive more information about the different training programs.
